First of all, I LOVE animals of all sizes and shapes! I have 27 years of experience caring for and loving pets. I have had pets throughout my life and I don’t think life is as fulfilling or enjoyable without them. I’ve had dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, bunnies, and other livestock over the years.
I became Red Cross Pet CPR and First Aid Certified at 19 years old while working for a pet sitting business in Bellingham, WA. I ran my own pet daycare and grooming business in my 20's, and now, I'm in my 30's and I offer my pet sitting services through Pure Love Pet Care. Animals bring joy to my life and getting paid to play with them is an ideal job, in my opinion.
I have experience with medication administration, from pills to sprays and even injections. Sadly, my sweet pup (pictured above) passed away in February 2020 at nearly 14 years of age. Having cared for my senior dog, I understand and respect the need for patience and a slower-paced gentleness with elderly cats and dogs.
I work full-time in Wenatchee, but my partner of almost ten years, Patrick, comes home at lunchtime. The dogs that we care for in our home are typically let out every 30 minutes to four hours, depending on the day. We also love to take dogs that we care for hiking, boating or on walks in the park or around our neighborhood. Occasionally, we need to leave the house for around six hours, but this does not happen frequently.
I look forward to speaking with you about your pet(s) to see if we may be a good match for pet care in the future! Talk to you soon!
With gratitude,
Amanda

Hello there! This is us (Patrick and me) and some of the pets we have cared for ⬇
Going to a kennel can be stressful for any animal. Why not have me stay with your pet(s) in their comfort zone- your home?
Don't need me to stay overnight, but still need your pets fed, watered, walked and loved? I offer drop-in visits to do whatever needs to be done, from feeding and walking to watering plants and grabbing the mail.
I am happy to welcome your pets into my home! Here, your pets are allowed to roam the house, get on the furniture (if they're allowed to at your home) and are only crated when we leave the house, if need be and they are crate trained. Think of my home as your pet's home away from home. I typically only board one to three clients' pets at a time.
Need care for horses, cows, pigs, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, etc.? I've got the experience and I welcome the opportunity to interact with and care for pets other than cats and dogs.
Have peace of mind while you're away! All of my clients receive text and photo updates about their pets. I typically provide 1-4 pictures per day, plus updates about how your pet is doing.
You may notice that boarding and house/pet sitting are sometimes booked on the same day. This is because I will be providing house/pet sitting in my clients' home, while Patrick provides the majority of boarding care at our home. I only do this with client permission.
Care, in your home, for your loved pets while you're away.
I spend the night in your home with your beloved pet. Up to 24 hours of care included. Additional charge for care beyond 24 hours.
For each additional dog. Additional cats are $15 each.
For each additional pet.
These visits can consist of feeding, watering, walking, loves, pets, and even household duties like watering plants, grabbing mail, etc. 30 minute visits unless otherwise specified by the client. Includes one pet.
In-my-home care for your loved pets while you're away. Pets are allowed to roam the house freely. I typically only take one or two clients' pets at a time.
They are ridiculously cute, but they also require extra love and attention. Puppies are 1 year and under.
$85.00 for puppies on holidays.
Some locations may be subject to an extra travel charge
I really don’t think I can say enough about how absolutely fantastic Amanda is. I was super anxious about leaving behind my sweet old lab for a week but Amanda made it easy! She was more than wonderful to communicate with, put up with my crazy dog mom moments AND Porter loved her! Would definitely recommend Amanda to anyone looking for the best possible care for your pet.
Amanda was great, very organized, knowledgeable and responsible about caring for our dog. She welcomed our dog into her home (and office) and he had a great time! We picked him up very happy and anxiety-free, we couldn't have asked for more. We would DEFINITELY use Amanda again if we find ourselves in the Wenatchee Valley.
Amanda is so wonderful! She makes our anxious dog feel safe and cared for while we’re away. Her animal care experience is obvious! She makes sure all of Lola’s exercise needs are met as well - from hikes to frisbee to walks in the neighborhood. She goes above and beyond to stay in communication with us and send us photos of Lola while we’re away. Can’t recommend her enough!
Amanda has taken great care of my dog Georgia twice now. She has been communicative, trustworthy, and responds promptly. I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter!
Amanda had a natural and immediate connection with our furry gals. She is professional and organized. Easy to fit in with our two dogs. She can easily be trusted and is someone we will definitely use again! Great find!
Amanda is awesome! She’s professional, responsible and communicates well. You can tell she truly cares about the well-being and safety of your dog. She sends you detailed updates and pictures so you can feel at ease when you are away. I would highly recommend her!!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Amanda was fantastic! She was so friendly and kind. I will definitely choose her again! This was my doggo’s first night away from me, and she had a blast! Amanda sent me pictures and kept me updated the whole time! Sure did make me feel better getting to see my pup and how much fun she was having :) Thanks for everything Amanda!
Amanda is amazing!!! Top notch. My heart and soul at ease leaving my two girls for 10 days while we were out of the country. I received daily updates AND daily pictures which showed me how cared for they were. She was so accommodating and walked them, played with them and cared for them. Again, thank you Amanda, you truly are #1!! And thank you for bringing in the mail too!!
Our pets were well cared for and our house looked tidy and taken care of during our absence. We will definitely be calling on Amanda again for our house sitting needs! Thanks Amanda for taking Finneythedog with you on your hike!
